I am pleased to have finally finished The Delinquent Bride, though I hope that my editor can come up with a better title as I am not so happy about that. As my story is set in 1912, partly on the Titanic, I felt that maybe the title should reflect that part of the story takes place aboard the Titanic, though maybe that isn’t necessary. I love the story of the Titanic and I have often thought about basing a spanking story on there. Actually there is very little spanking aboard the Titanic, but I do like how I have been able to use that disaster to help my reluctant bride to escape her wedding. I have enjoyed researching this part of history and I have really enjoyed building my characters for this story. I believe I continue to grow as a writer with each book that I write, and I try hard each time to make my characters more believable and more likeable. I continue to try to learn from the advice that my editor gives me and also the reviews my books have received. It is approximately a year since my first book was published, and I am really enjoying being given the opportunity to write and am very grateful to Stormy Night Publications for allowing me to publish my books under their ‘name’ and helping me to bring them up to a publishable standard.

My story is now 15 chapters as when I proof read it I realised that I had two Chapter Elevens! I just want to read the whole thing from beginning to end once more, which I will probably do tomorrow, or maybe even tonight, before sending it to my publisher.
