Sex on a Friday afternoon just isn’t working – writing it, not doing it!!! My editor’s advice to “lengthen the sex scene…have him take her hard, with her enjoying it…Duncan is the tall, strong, masculine Highlander and she is his young bride who he loves but wants to take and take hard…she should want it too and perhaps even beg him for it”.

I think for now I should skip this part and go back to it later because at the moment I feel slightly ‘impotent’. After I’ve finished the amendments to the 4 chapters that I have on my desk, I only have 4 more chapters’ worth of amendments to get from my editor and then hopefully there won’t be too much more to do before its ready for publication. I can’t wait. It’s been a long hard slog to edit this one, but I’m sure our hard work (thank you James) has made it so much better.
